Under the authority of President Coin (Julianne Moore) and the guidance of her trusted companions, Katniss spreads her wings as she battles to spare Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and a country moved by her fearlessness. 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1' is controlled by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig and created by Nina Jacobson's Color Force in pair with maker Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the third in a set of three composed by Suzanne Collins that has in excess of 65 million duplicates in print in the U.s. alone.
